As member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, one of the most prestigious young orchestras in Europe, he has played in cities like Abu Dhabi, Budapest, Athens, Lisbon, Vienna, Pordenone, Bolzano, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Stuttgart, Salzburg or Dresden and where he has shared stage with soloists like Frank Peter Zimmermann, Christian Gerhaher, Nicholas Angelich, or Gautier Capuçon.
He has participated in international festivals like BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, Young Euro Classic or Musikfest Stuttgart.
He has played in international concert halls such as Musikverein of Wien, Konzerthaus of Berlin, Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, Semper Opera of Dresden, Megaron of Athens, Auditorio Nacional of Madrid or Royal Albert Hall of London.
Dúo Xistra aims to break down the barriers that nowadays classical music seems to show and begin to look for a renewed vision, accompanied by a new sound for the period from the baroque to the contemporary.
They have been selected to participate in the Chamber Music Festival ‘’City of Mendoza’’ in Argentina, being the youngest musicians in the history of this festival. During their tour for South America they have performed a concert in National Conservatory of Accordion in Santiago de Chile.
They have been awarded the first prize in the International Juventudes Musicales of Vinaròs, the third prize in The North International Competition of Sweeden, the first prize in IMKA Music Competition (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and invited to perform in Army Hall in Sarajevo.
The European Philharmonic of Switzerland (EPOS) was founded in 2015 by members of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra (GMJO) to continue the musical path and partnership they established during the last 15 years in the environment of the GMJO.
The majority of the EPOS members are holding permanent or trail positions in leading European orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony, the Bavarian State Opera Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France Orchestre National de France, the Rotterdam and the Hague Phiharmonic, the Teatro Reggio Torino, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestras of Galicia, the Tonhalle and the Philharmonia Zurich, as well as the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne.
He has been highly interested in contemporary music since he first collaborated in premieres in Academia para la Nueva Música conducted by
Nacho de Paz, performing premieres
from different pieces.
He has also improved his technical skills thanks to Julián Elvira, one of the most internationally recognized contemporary performers.
